Description
Cream separator skimmer parts
Cream skimmer parts (or cream separator parts) generally consist of the mechanical components of a centrifugal machine or traditional manual tools used to separate fat from milk. For modern centrifugal separators, common spare parts include replacement drums, sets of internal disks, rubber sealing rings (gaskets), and various outlets or receivers.
Core Centrifugal Components
The “drum” or “bowl” is the central operating element where high-speed rotation creates the centrifugal force necessary to separate cream from skim milk.
Drum/Top Bowl: The primary assembly housing the separation process.
Separation Disks: A set of 10 to 21 metal or plastic plates (often with “bumps” or “hills” to prevent sticking) that stack inside the drum to increase separation efficiency.
Sealing Ring (Gasket): A food-safe rubber or silicone ring essential for preventing leaks and maintaining pressure.
Adjusting Screw: A specialized screw (sometimes called a cream screw) used to regulate the thickness and fat content of the extracted cream
